Josh sacks is the GM for Virtual Care at Remedy Healthcare, responsible for the strategy and management of all remotely delivered services. Prior to being appointed in this role, Josh was a Telehealth/ Digital Health subject matter expert for the South Metropolitan Health Services in Perth, Western Australia and was responsible for delivering telehealth and digital health solutions across three public hospitals within the group. His understanding of the key trends in digital health and associated technology has been developed and maintained through his links with industry organisations and academia. Josh was on the National Board for the Health Informatics Society of Australia, a Certified Health Informatician of Australia Member and a sessional academic for numerous universities, where he lectured on Health Informatics and digital health. Josh has a unique background combining a strong commercial skillset, experience as a leader in the digital health industry, and an understanding based on both industry and academic knowledge of how the digital health sector will continue to transform health care.
